Acquest CAG 3000 air Micrometer is a measuring instrument that measures internal and external dimension of workpiece by using the obstruction flow of air and its comparison. This instrument measures the changes in measurements powered by air compressor to an air probe or limit gauges which then sense the quantity of air or changes in pressure within air pipe. Your workpieces are free from damage because of the non-contact approach which is highly demanded for inspecting soft and delicate materials. The system can measure inside and outside diameters, thickness, perpendicularly, cylindricity and circularity tolerances as well. The Acquest CAG 3000 air micrometer technology offers sufficient magnification and reliability to measure small tolerances ranges down to 0.5 – 2.0 µm.
The Series CAG-3000 column type air gauge, micrometer display is a precision, non-contact measuring instrument when combined with air probe sensor. Acquest CAG 3000 performs instant, convenient, and precise dimensional analysis on components. Pass/Fail feedback is instant with the integral easy view three-color LED bar-graph display. Column displays can also be conveniently daisy-chained with additional units to allow quick inspections of multiple dimensions with various sensors. All CAG-3000’s come standard with RS-232 serial communications for data analysis on PLC’s. An Excel spreadsheet program is available for download for free that allows communication with up to 5 units simultaneously.

- Utilizing the standard serial output communications, data can be downloaded to a PC for processing and further evaluation
