Chennai Metco provides a complete solution for metallography and metallurgy inspection by various methods of grinding, polishing, and etching. Chennai Metco BAINPOL VFD is particularly suitable for High volume/Large specimen preparation. For smaller and softer material, BAINPOL VTD will work better.

In metallography process, after the specimen is fitted and properly sized (with any Chennai Metco BAINCUT models) the next step will be preparing the specimen for fine surface polishing which can done with Chennai Metco BAINPOL VFD. The dual spindle and automatic holder of specimen on Chennai Metco BAINPOL VFD allows immediate grind and careful polishing with varieties of abbrasive cloth for tougher specimen which needs longer time of processing.

BAINPOL VFD is the ultimate solution to grind and polish with finer abrasive particles until the mirror finish on the specimen surface achieved. After the specimen is ready, the next step will be chemical etching so that the metallographic structure of specimen can be observed and measured in detail with Vision engineering TIM5 or digital, optical, or electron microscopy.
