Chennai Metco provides a complete solution for metallography and metallurgy inspection by various methods of grinding, polishing, and etching.

Chennai Metco Baincut - HSS is a sturdy cutter for metallographic sectioning of samples with medium level of toughness. Chennai Metco Baincut - HSS is suitable for cutting specimen or tested part of small sized material with precious or rare value. This cold sectioning machine will make the next process of polishing mounting and etching become much easier, so that you can have a natural imaging and clear perception under the microscope. Application includes micro analysis built of mechatronics parts, QC in iridium sparkplugs, piston arms, smaller crankshaft, chains, locking screw, padlocks, fibres in ABS plastic, carbon fibres, alumnium frames and many more.

For finer sample then the next step will be grinding and polish finer abrasive particles with BAINPOL Auto PMV series, until the desired surface quality is ready and the metallographic structure of specimen can be observed and measured in detail with Vision engineering TIM5 or digital, optical, or electron microscopy.
