ILIX 6220 - Twist Drill is devised with reinforced morse shank for ISO metric coarse thread with extra long lenght conform with DIN 1870-1. ILIX 6220 is designed with tipping point of 120° from the finest HSS for cast iron and HSS cobalt for stainless steel which produces higher toughness and aggresive metal removal needed on working on high speed.

The selectable cutting lenght of this drill starts from 165mm to 405mm, with total lenght of upto 605mm. ILIX 6220 - Twist Drill series are applicable for working with cast iron and non-ferrous materials, such as grey cast iron, spheroidal cast iron and thermoplastics with organic or inorganic fillers. In addition, this DIN 1870-1 drill comes with 3 different models of tipping point, coating and lenght which are N type 6220/1, STL type 6221/1 tipping point of 130° and 6219/1 tipping point of 130° for HSS-Co (5% Cobalt coating).
