ILIX 6614 - Hand Tapping Bit VA DIN 352 is devised as a practical tapping or manual thread making. The cutting geometry is suitable to threads on cast iron and HSS cobalt for stainless steel. This drill produces higher toughness and aggresive metal removal needed on working on high speed, while maintaining lower temperature thanks to its internal cooling channel.
Ilix 6614 comes in set of 3 pieces, for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 13. Ilix 6614 taps are made of the finest HSS cobalt which produces higher toughness and hardness. Ilix 6614 taps are applicable for various materials, such as bronze, stainless steel, alloy, heat treated steel and other material as well.
