ILIX Countersink 6277 DIN 335 C is a German countersink with reinforced shank for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 335 form C. ILIX Countersink 6277 are made of the finest HSS which produces higher toughness and flexibility in minimizing chatters. In addition, it is available with TiAIN Futura coating for dry machining and uncoated model for affordable alternative in cutting and deburring of various material.

The application of ILIX Countersink 6277 DIN 335 C includes TiAlN Futura Coating for dry machining, TiN also the uncoated model. ILIX Countersink 6277 DIN 335 C can also perform side deburring, chamfering, as well as through hole borings. ILIX Countersink 6277 DIN 335 C are applicable for cast iron and non-ferrous materials, grey cast iron, spheroidal cast iron and thermoplastics with organic or inorganic fillers. However when you want to cut tougher material with generous coolant as with Inconel, you can also consider ILIX 6275 which made of Vollhartmetall (VHM) or solid carbide with the same geometry as 6277 (with uncoated or TiAIN Futura coating).
