ILIX Multi DTM 6940 is devised as a innovative approach for threading with ISO metric standard within 4H-6H 6G tolerance. Made from the finest Tungsten Carbide Grades material, the two in one thread milling cutters were designed with 2 flute chamfered step and internal cooling DIN 13, for ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 6535 HB. You can do holemaking, thread mill and counter sink all in one cutter. This is a great alternative to anyone who previously cannot do rigid tapping with their machine. You can choose the morse tappered shank and straight shank models too.
Your investment on ILIX's range of Thread Milling Cutter willl allow you to have both high precision result within a much economical cost, as you can do both threading and deburring/chamffered finish as deburring happen automatically when the thread is milled. Thanks to its axial internal cooling feature, you can threads on various grade of aluminum, alloy steel or soft metals as well on any cut where you need the chips to clear out fast and easy. ILIX Multi CTM 7040 produces higher toughness and aggresive metal removal needed on working on high speed, while maintaining lower temperature thanks to its multi channel of internal cooling channel. This means you have no additional costs for deburring and faster set up compared to using tapping bit which followed by countersink bit.
There are 12 models to choose from, the ILIX 7040 with regular lenght to ILIX 7050 for a shorther lenght with medium range of pitches (See tech details for specific sizes).
