Kafer Saw Setting Dial Gauge is optimized to meet the industrial standard, as having a correctly set saw for all sawing work is a must. Equipped with dual side dial gage, with a Kafer Saw Setting Dial Gauge you can check the tooth set on steel saw blades and maintained exactly any specified set for various kinds of material before sawing, thus ensuring maximum output, precision and efficient workmanship.
There are 4 models of gage to choose from. Each model of Kafer Saw Setting Dial Gauge, will ensure your blades' carbide tips are both centered properly on the blade body when re-tipping and perfect for checking the tangential and radial side clearance (side grinding) within the desired tolerances. Furthermore, you can also use it for checking the tooth set on steel circular saw blades and hand held saws with either metric or imperial standard of measurements. Be advised that the standard flat feeler has a diameter of 10 mm (.4") with pointed feelers, spherical feelers or flat 4.8 mm diameter feelers are also available on request.
Your investment on Kafer Saw Setting Dial Gauge will allow you to have a practical tools for any saw sharpener or saw shop. You can simply set up the gauge on the saw blade so that the sprung tracer touches the cutting edges of the saw. Then, the pointer gives instant reading of the measurement. As the Gauge has a dial on both sides, it can be used either left or right handed. The sturdy enclosure along with compact form factor is durable and reliable for many hours of cutting. Kafer Saw Setting Dial Gauges :
- Used to check the tooth set on steel saw blades and measure the tangential and radial side clearance of circular saw blades
- Kafer standard Saw Setting Dial Gauges are supplied with a flat contact point 10 mm diameter.
- The specific contact point are available on demand. Please note that the contact points are not interchangeable.
- Side Dial Gauge (Set Gauge) is delivered with Storage Case
- On request the Saw Setting Dial Gauges are also available with 0.01 mm reading instead of 0.1 mm reading. Order text: Saw Setting Dial Gauge – 0.01 mm or Saw Setting Dial Gauge H – 0.01 mm.
- As standard Saw Setting Dial Gauges Z and HZ are supplied with a flat contact Carbide anvil 10 mm diameter. Please note that the contact points are not interchangeable.
- As standard Saw Setting Dial Gauges K 2/61 and Z K 2/61 are supplied with a flat Carbide anvil 10 mm (.4") diameter. Please indicate in your order text if one of the optional contact points is needed.
