Maykestag Stub Drills DIN 6537K is made of Austrian patented micro-grain-carbide which produces higher toughness, hardness and bending strength. Maykestag Stub Drills DIN 6537K is manufactured with the most up-to-date metallurgic infuser technology of 5% cobalt-alloyed high speed steel for your high-effiency drills with re-inforced web and wear resistance. The Maykestag's optimised tool geometry on its Screw Machine Drills provide a higher tool stability (even in unstable working conditions) and a higher surface quality of the material to be machined. 

Depends on your machining set up, Maykestag Stub Drills DIN 1897 PZ series are specially suitable for drilling stainless steel, acid-resisting steel, spring-steel. Optimized for both high stability and universal usability on hand held operations, it also offers optimum chip breakage, high centering accuracy and less cutting forces. Maykestag Screw Machine Drills are suitable for materials with tensile strength up to 1300 N/mm2. Specially suitable for drilling thin sections and sheet-metal.
